Dr. Athanasios Tsadiras is Professor at the School of Economic Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the School of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, in 1997. In 2002 he completed his postdoctoral studies in the same School on Decision Making, Forecasting and Strategic Planning.

His research interests include the following topics: Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining Economic Data, Machine Learning – Data Science, Decision Support Systems, E-Commerce.

He has published more than 70 articles in magazines, conferences, and books. He is a reviewer in many scientific journals, including Information Sciences – Elsevier, Expert Systems with Applications – Elsevier, Neurocomputing – Elsevier, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, Computational Economics – Springer.

He has participated in various projects related to Data Mining Economic Data, Information Systems, E-Learning, Web Services, Analysis of Supply and Production Systems, E-Business, etc.
